On Saturday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to noon, the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Civic Association will host a Dr. Seuss Birthday Party in celebration of Read Across America Week.
“Come join the fun and games while we celebrate reading, stories, and our favorite Seuss characters,” stated organizers in an update. “There will be games, crafts, snacks, and books for all the children to take home.”
The party will be held at the RWS Community Building in Rodanthe, across from Chicamacomico Lifesaving Station.
Activities are best suited for children age 8 and under, but all are welcome. The event is free and open to the public.
